About The Project

Hudson Tech HFC Reclamation Project 2020 – Georgia is a voluntary carbon offset project undertaken by Hudson Technologies that comprises of HFC reclamation processes and resale of the reclaimed gas to the US refrigerant market. The project covers the timeframe of February 12, 2020 to December 30, 2020. The project intends to reduce approximately 700,000 metric tonnes of CO2 eq from being emitted into the atmosphere. Hudson has purchased recovered refrigerant from contractors and wholesale companies around the US, processed it through reclaim equipment at our Atlanta, GA facility, and sold it for use in hvac equipment around the US.
